Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sash Window Restorations and Window Fitter to join our specialised team. The successful candidate will be responsible for restoring traditional sash windows and fitting new or refurbished units, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. Responsibilities
- Restoring sash windows by repairing or replacing damaged components, including frames, sashes, and glazing.
- Fitting new or refurbished sash windows into existing openings with precision and care.
- Using a variety of hand tools and power tools to carry out repairs, adjustments, and installations.
- Ensuring all work complies with relevant building regulations and safety standards.
- Preparing work sites by clearing debris and protecting surrounding areas during restoration or fitting processes.
- Collaborating with team members to complete projects efficiently and to a high standard.
- Maintaining tools and equipment in good working order for optimal performance.
- Advising clients on maintenance requirements for restored sash windows.
Skills
- Proven experience in carpentry, construction and window fitting is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques.
- Ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings related to window restoration and fitting projects.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent painting skills.
- Good physical fitness for manual handling tasks and working at heights if necessary.

Pay: £120.00-£150.00 per day
