⭐ Role Responsibilities – Installation Engineer
As a Gas Installation Engineer, you will:
- Carry out boiler replacements and full central heating installations across social housing properties
- Install domestic gas boilers, radiators, pipework, controls and associated heating components
- Complete installations safely and efficiently in line with current Gas Safety regulations
- Carry out pre-installation checks and assess existing heating systems
- Complete necessary testing, commissioning and handover procedures
- Accurately complete all required paperwork and compliance documentation
- Identify and report any additional works or issues discovered during installations
- Maintain high standards of workmanship, health & safety and customer care
- Communicate professionally with residents and the planning team
- Work independently while managing a daily installation schedule
⭐ Ideal Candidate
- Valid ACS and relevant domestic gas qualifications
- Proven experience carrying out domestic gas installations
- Experience with boiler replacements and full central heating installations
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Strong understanding of Gas Safety regulations and compliance
- Good attention to detail and high standards of workmanship
- Excellent customer service skills
- Comfortable working independently in occupied social housing properties
- Based within a reasonable commuting distance of the IP, CO or NR postcode areas
