Overview
We are looking for a reliable and professional individual to join our Customer Fulfilment team as a Customer Fulfilment Driver.
This role is focused primarily on supporting our retail operation through the delivery of stock and replenishment orders to our stores, ensuring products arrive safely, accurately, and on time. The role involves regular travel to our stores in locations including Stamford, Harrogate and Kingston upon Thames, as well as other locations as required.
Whilst driving will form the core part of the role, we are looking for someone with a flexible, can do approach who is willing to support the wider needs of the Customer Fulfilment team when required.
We are considering both part-time and full-time opportunities. The part-time option would provide guaranteed working days on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, with the potential for additional hours depending on business requirements and peak trading periods.
All About You
You will be someone who takes pride in delivering a high standard of service and understands the important role you play in supporting our retail stores and wider business. You'll be confident managing your own workload and representing the business professionally when visiting our stores. You'll enjoy being on the road, travelling to different locations, and be physically capable of loading and unloading stock as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver stock and replenishment orders to our retail stores safely, accurately and on schedule
- Travel regularly to locations including Stamford, Harrogate, Kingston upon Thames and other sites as required
- Load and unload vehicles safely, ensuring all goods are handled with care
- Support the delivery and collection of stock, equipment and materials for key events and business activities
- Complete delivery documentation and communicate effectively with stores regarding deliveries
- Carry out routine vehicle safety checks and report any maintenance requirements
- Build positive working relationships with colleagues across our retail locations
- Provide support with ad hoc operational duties as required
- Keeping informed on all relevant risk assessments and adhere to all Health & Safety measures in place.
Experience, Requirements & Attributes
- Full, clean UK driving licence is essential
- Minimum 2 years driving experience
- Over 25 years of age, for insurance purposes
- Previous delivery, logistics or driving experience is desirable
- Excellent timekeeping and organisational skills
- Strong communication skills
- Flexible and adaptable approach to work
- Customer focused with a positive attitude
- Right to Work in the UK
