COMPANY OVERVIEW
Mallatite Limited is a specialist manufacturer of lighting & traffic support structures, passive products, traffic signs & equipment and LED message signs, and sits within the roads division of Hill & Smith Holdings Plc.
Responsible for various tasks with in the finishing or pre-fab side. Working from works orders with strict adherence to quality standard.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
2 x Experienced General Production Operatives from a manufacturing background who will be responsible for the safe operation of equipment & machinery within the Pre-fabrication, Profiling and Finishing areas of the manufacturing site.
KEY DUTIES
- To interpret, follow and carry out directions from production drawings and works orders
- Operation of touchscreen computers in conjunction with above
- Responsible for pre-shift checks and notify any and all defects to your Team Leader
- Responsible for achieving daily targets as required
- To adhere to and promote health and safety & welfare rules and regulations, including PPR and RPE, at all times
- Be aware of and always adhere to Health & Safety policies and requirements for a Production environment; See it, Stop it, Report it
- Undertake Training and Continuous Improvement opportunities
- Previous experience within a production environment is essential
- Any other reasonable duties within your skills remit to support the operational duties of the department or company
WHAT WE OFFER
- Basic Salary starts at £12.82, with opportunity to increase after further training
- 40 hour week (1 position at Mon - Fri, 06:00 - 14:30 and 1 position at Mon - Fri, 08:00 - 16:30), plus O/T (x1.5 Mon - Sat, x2 on Sun)
