Duties
- Conduct assessments for learners pursuing City & Guilds Levels 3 & 4 qualifications in healthcare-related disciplines.
- Plan and organise assessment schedules in accordance with programme requirements and learner needs.
- Provide constructive feedback to learners, supporting their ongoing development and understanding of healthcare practices.
- Maintain accurate records of assessments, progress reports, and certification documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Communicate effectively with learners, training providers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth assessment processes.
- Stay updated on relevant qualification standards, industry developments, and best practices within healthcare education.
- Utilise IT systems efficiently to record assessments, track progress, and generate reports as required.
Skills
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple assessments simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to provide clear guidance and feedback to learners.
- Proficiency in IT systems utilised within educational assessment environments.
- Fluency in English is essential for effective communication and documentation purposes.
- Experience or knowledge of plumbing or teaching within the healthcare sector is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Ability to adapt assessment methods to meet individual learner needs while maintaining high standards of quality and integrity.
