Domestic Brickwork & Construction — Bricklayer / General Builder

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Bricklayer / General Builder to join our growing domestic construction business.
The work is varied and mainly consists of domestic brickwork and construction, so we’re looking for someone who is competent across a range of building work and can work confidently as part of a team.
The work will include:
- Brickwork & blockwork
- Extensions and new builds
- Knock-throughs and structural alterations
- Lintels and structural openings
- Foundations and footings
- Concrete slabs
- Demolition and alterations
- Remedial brickwork and repairs
- Rebuilding and making good
- Cavity work
- Garden walls and other domestic brickwork
- General domestic construction
The ideal candidate:
- Has good experience in domestic construction
- Is a competent and confident bricklayer/general builder
- Can work well as part of a team
- Can also work independently when required
- Is reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work
- Has a full driving licence
- Has their own basic set of hand tools
- Has a good attitude and is willing to get stuck in
- Takes responsibility for the quality of their work
Pay will be based on experience and ability. Rate of pay will be discussed with suitable candidates.
