Poets Interiors of Keswick
Is an independently run , locally owned friendly family business selling Gifts Lighting Collectible's and Accessories.
This is a hands on job - were we all muck in as required- the position includes serving customers , using the till , helping with goods in (including occasional furniture/some heavy boxes) arranging displays including wall art and general house keeping .
You will need to be computer literate - have good personnel skills -a flexible attitude and numerate- this position includes cashing up and being a keyholder.
Full days currently from 9 am to around 5.15 pm - (out season hours 9.45 - 4.15)
We open 7 days including Bank Holidays ( we do not open Christmas Day/Boxing Day / New Years Day ).Our rota a month in advance and we try to accommodate all staff as best we can.
Our current rate of pay is :£13.50 Hour (21 plus )
Retails experience required. An interest in interior design or collectables may be an advantage .
We don't believe in the hard sell -just friendly conversation and a nice smile.
28 days paid holidays - pro rata to days worked -pension. Staff discounts of up to 30%
