Job Summary
We have two roles, a pemanent role and a temporary role to cover maternity leave.
The Quality Auditor will be working as part of the Technical Team, preventing errors in manufacturing or production that lead to product defects. You will be responsible for ensuring that all quality checks are carried out to the correct customer specification and any non-conformances are reported immediately to the relevant Section Manager, as well as ensuring due diligence, product safety and quality in all relevant departments.
Duties
- Raw material quality checks.
- To input data into the online system
- Carry out traceability checks
- Verify label placement and information accuracy
- Ensure compliance with HACCP procedures
- Carry out Critical Control Point (CCP) checks
- Completing paperwork to a high level of accuracy, recording daily QA tasks
- Identifying and reporting any quality, food safety or compliance issues to QA Team Leader and QA Manager
- Audit quality checks
- Daily checks of factory processes and procedures to ensure compliance and adhere to good manufacturing practices
- Carry out verification checks of calibration of measuring equipment
- Investigate complaints and resolve issues
- Collecting and collating samples for testing
Qualifications
- Experience in quality assurance or auditing within a manufacturing or food production environment is desirable
- Excellent organisational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
