Could you help shape the quality and future of Adult Social Care services, ensuring local residents receive the safe, high-quality support they deserve?
If you're someone who enjoys building positive professional relationships, analysing information to solve problems, and confidently managing challenging conversations, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. You'll be motivated by making a difference, have a keen eye for detail, and be committed to driving quality improvements across services that support vulnerable adults.
What’s the role all about?
As a Contracts Officer within the Care and Independence team, you'll oversee a portfolio of Adult Social Care and Health contracts, ensuring providers meet contractual requirements, quality standards, and expected outcomes. Working closely with providers, colleagues and stakeholders, you'll monitor performance, identify risks, support service improvements, and help ensure services deliver value for money while meeting the needs of local residents.
What will your day look like?
You will be visiting providers to carry out quality monitoring and contract oversight, analysing performance information and intelligence, preparing reports, meeting with stakeholders to discuss service improvements, or supporting contractual processes and procurement activity. You'll also work closely with providers to address challenges, manage risks, and ensure people accessing services receive the highest standards of care and support.
Who are we looking for?
We're looking for an experienced and proactive professional with a background in contract management, monitoring or commissioning, ideally within Adult Social Care, Health, or the public sector. You'll have excellent communication and relationship-building skills, the ability to analyse complex information, and confidence in challenging poor performance constructively. A good understanding of contractual oversight, quality assurance and relevant legislative frameworks is essential, along with a commitment to continuous improvement and delivering positive outcomes.
Why join us?
Join a team that is committed to improving the lives of local people while fostering a culture built on integrity, openness, commitment and continuous improvement. You'll benefit from a flexible hybrid working arrangement, opportunities for professional development, and the chance to make a meaningful impact on the quality and sustainability of care services across North East Lincolnshire. Every day, your work will help shape better outcomes for residents, carers and communities.
