Overview
Hair Pro UK are a commission based employed salon looking for an experienced hair stylist to join our friendly, creative, and supportive team. If you love colouring, precision cutting, and delivering an exceptional customer service every time, we would love to here from you.
This is a part time position including a late night and a Saturday.
NVQ level 3 qualified but may consider a level 2.
We are a matrix salon.
Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of hair styling services including cuts, colour services, blowouts, perming, mens hair and special occasion styles
- Provide personalized customer service to understand client needs and recommend suitable treatments or products
- Assist at the front desk by scheduling appointments, managing client check-ins, and maintaining a welcoming environment
- Upsell retail products and additional services to maximize client experience and salon revenue
- Mentor junior team members by sharing techniques, offering feedback, and fostering a collaborative atmosphere
Requirements
- 4 years salon experience in hairdressing
- NVQ level 2/3
- Great team player
- Knowledge of current trends in hair fashion
- Excellent communication skills to connect with clients and team members effectively
- Ability to manage front desk responsibilities including scheduling and client inquiries
- Demonstrated ability to upsell services and retail products confidently
- Strong customer service with a positive attitude and professional demeanor
