PPA Teacher Required – Wigan
Exclusive Education is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed PPA Teacher to work in a friendly, lively, and vibrant primary school in Wigan.
This role will involve delivering PPA cover across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, starting as soon as possible. The successful candidate will be expected to take responsibility for the class during PPA cover and demonstrate outstanding teaching practice.
The school is open to appointing either an ECT or an experienced Qualified PPA Teacher, provided the successful applicant can confidently implement strong behaviour management strategies and adhere to school policies. Previous PPA teaching experience is desirable.
Essential Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Hold a relevant teaching qualification with QTS, such as a PGCE, B.Ed. or BA (Hons)
- Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
- Have previous experience as a PPA Teacher
- Have experience teaching across KS1 and KS2
- Provide two professional references working with children, covering the last 2 years
- Hold a current DBS registered with the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one
