Overview
We are seeking an experienced automotive workshop technician who is passionate about vehicle maintenance and repair. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring that all vehicles meet safety and quality standards. Your mechanical expertise and hands-on skills will contribute to delivering exceptional service to our valued customers. Duties
- Diagnose vehicle problems using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools
- Perform repairs and maintenance on a variety of vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and electrical components
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete repairs efficiently and accurately
- Conduct heavy lifting as needed for parts replacement or vehicle servicing
- Follow safety protocols during all repair procedures and maintain a clean workshop environment
- Assist with equipment repair and routine maintenance of workshop tools and machinery
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair work clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction
Experience
- Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic with a strong mechanical knowledge base
- Familiarity with reading schematics and technical diagrams for troubleshooting complex issues
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly processes
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures and equipment repair techniques
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a busy workshop setting
- Prior experience working with diagnostic systems and conducting routine maintenance tasks
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence
