Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Part Time PSV Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating passenger service vehicles, delivering excellent customer service, and maintaining vehicle safety standards. This role offers flexibility with part-time hours and is ideal for individuals with a passion for driving and transportation.
Shift Pattern:
Weekends (Saturday/Sunday)
Duties
- Safely operate passenger service vehicles (PSV) in accordance with road safety regulations and company policies
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure optimal functioning
- Deliver passengers to designated locations punctually and courteously
- Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and vehicle condition
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and passengers to coordinate schedules and address any issues
- Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the vehicle at all times
- Adhere to all traffic laws, health and safety regulations, and company procedures during all operations
Qualifications
- Valid PSV driver’s licence with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or passenger vehicle driver, preferably within a commercial setting
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on vehicles
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to operate vehicles safely over various routes and conditions
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively
- Prior experience in delivery or passenger transport is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
