Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
- Assist customers by taking orders, answering questions, and providing friendly service
- Handle food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches, salads, or baked goods according to health standards
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all areas of the café, including food prep stations and customer seating areas
- Manage cash register transactions accurately using basic math skills and ensure proper cash handling procedures
- Support stock replenishment by organizing supplies and rotating stock to ensure freshness and availability
- Follow all food safety regulations diligently to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers
Requirements
- Previous barista experience is preferred but not essential; a passion for coffee and customer service is key
- Knowledge of food safety practices to uphold hygiene standards at all times
- Experience in serving customers in fast-paced environments with excellent communication skills
- Ability to perform food preparation tasks efficiently while maintaining quality standards
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash register operations
