Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and patient Tutor to provide personalised academic support to students in KS2-KS4. The successful candidate will assist learners in developing their understanding, confidence, and skills through engaging and tailored instruction. Duties
- Deliver group tutoring sessions in Maths, English or Science, adapting teaching methods to meet individual student needs.
- Prepare customised lesson plans and educational materials to facilitate effective learning.
- Assess students’ progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement
- Foster a positive, encouraging atmosphere that promotes student engagement and motivation
Skills
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching across various age groups, especially children.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and patiently.
- Experience working with children, including those with special educational needs, is highly desirable.
- Excellent organisational skills to plan lessons effectively and track student progress.
- Flexibility and adaptability to cater to diverse learning styles and requirements.
- Passion for education and a genuine interest in supporting student success.
