About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Administrative Assistant to support the smooth day-to-day operations of our busy farm office. You will be the central point of contact for our team, helping us maintain excellent service delivery, accurate records and a welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the first point of contact for visitors and inbound calls. Process firewood orders and arrange delivery schedules. Manage fleet insurance policies for vehicles and agricultural machinery, ensuring tax and MOT compliance, scheduling when required. Assist with accounts administration processing customer and supplier invoices. Organise files, process paperwork, and maintain accurate digital records. Assist management and team members with general administrative tasks, correspondence and reporting.
What We Are Looking For
Experience: Proven experience in an administrative or office support role.
Tech Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Xero accountancy package.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional, friendly manner.
Organisation: Strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Previous experience of working within an agricultural environment would be advantageous but not essential.
