We are seeking to expand our team. We are a local neighbourhood espresso bar committed to consistently delivering quality drinks with excellent customer service in a clean and friendly environment.
About the role: You do not need previous barista experience, a positive attitude is more important to us than prior experience. We welcome applications from individuals who are:
- Friendly, approachable, and confident when engaging with customers
- Can build rapport with regulars and foster connections with everyone who walks in the door
- Dedicated to maintaining a clean and organised workspace
- Reliable and capable of working well within a small team as well as staying energised when working solo
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and can take initiative to clean the coffee shop and prep food and drinks during downtime
While previous barista experience is advantageous, it is not essential. Full training will be provided for suitable candidates with strong customer service skills.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and serving espresso‑based beverages and other drinks to a high standard
- Providing warm, genuine customer service
- Maintaining cleanliness across the bar and customer areas
- Assisting with light food preparation as required
- Adhering to health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times
Hours and Contracts: We are offering flexible part-time contracts for 8 hours per week. This will usually cover 2 x 4 hour shifts 17:00-21:00 .

You will be expected to eventually work as the sole barista during quiet shifts but also alongside a 2nd barista on busy shifts.
