Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold high standards of cleanliness.
- Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces by sweeping, mopping, disinfecting, and restocking supplies.
- Ensure all linens, towels, and amenities are replenished regularly to meet guest expectations.
- Follow established safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages discovered during cleaning to appropriate personnel promptly.
- Assist with seasonal deep cleaning projects and special event preparations as needed.
- Uphold confidentiality and respect guest privacy at all times while delivering friendly, professional service.
Skills
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience is highly preferred to understand the unique needs of guests and the importance of attention to detail.
- Strong janitorial skills with experience in commercial cleaning environments.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete assigned tasks within scheduled shifts.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and respond courteously to guest inquiries or requests.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
- A proactive approach to cleanliness standards and a passion for creating welcoming spaces that guests will enjoy.
Pay: £12.71 per hour
