Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional food and beverage assistant to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving drinks efficiently, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills, a strong understanding of food safety standards, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences
- Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and deliver prompt service
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
- Ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations at all times
- Manage cash register operations, process payments accurately, and handle tips professionally
- Monitor guest behaviour to promote responsible drinking and ensure safety standards are upheld
- Restock bar supplies as needed and assist with inventory management
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong knowledge of hospitality principles and excellent serving skills
- Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations
- Ability to perform basic maths for handling transactions efficiently
- Good organisational skills with effective time management to prioritise tasks during busy hours
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour suitable for engaging with diverse customers

Pay: £12.21-£18.01 per hour
