Green Snow runs a portfolio of curtain and soft furnishings brands. We're looking for a Customer Service Advisor to join our fabric team, working alongside experienced customer service specialists across these sites.
Ideally, you'll have an interest in interiors, home decor, craft or fabrics, which will help you settle into the role and connect with customers. That said, this isn't essential for the right candidate with strong customer service experience - we'll teach you everything you need to know the fabrics and curtains we sell.
You'll take ownership of day-to-day customer queries such as order tracking and general questions, and take straightforward orders over the phone, freeing up our specialists to focus on more complex or higher-value enquiries. Where a call or query needs specialist product knowledge, you'll be supported to recognise this quickly and hand it over to the right person on the team.
The role:
- Responding to incoming emails in a timely fashion, e.g. order chasing, delivery updates, general product queries
- Answering the telephone, including taking straightforward orders and passing on more complex or specialist enquiries to the experienced team, whilst maintaining the customer experience and satisfaction.
- Supporting live chat
- Ensuring Customer Service information is up to date on websites and reporting any issues where needed
- Supporting the team creating and sending fabric samples where requested
- Helping despatch orders in the warehouse during busy times
Key skills:
- Recent experience in a Customer Service role (essential)
- Excellent Customer Service skills
- A polite and professional telephone manner
- Must be organised and motivated / able to work on own initiative
- Computer literate (including Word, Excel, Outlook)
- A good team player
- An interest in interiors, home, craft or fabrics is ideal but not essential
