Full Circle Living is seeking an experienced, passionate and highly motivated Registered Manager to lead our children's residential home in Maidstone, Kent.
This is an excellent opportunity for a strong leader who has a proven track record of delivering high-quality care, driving regulatory compliance, and creating positive outcomes for children and young people. We are looking for someone who is confident in leading teams, embedding therapeutic practice, and working within the Children's Homes Regulations and Ofsted framework.
The Role
As Registered Manager you will be responsible for:
- Providing strong, visible leadership to the home.
- Ensuring the home operates in full compliance with the Children's Homes Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards.
- Maintaining outstanding safeguarding practice and promoting positive outcomes for children and young people.
- Leading, motivating and developing a high-performing staff team.
- Preparing the home for Ofsted inspections and maintaining regulatory compliance.
- Managing audits, quality assurance and continuous improvement.
- Building positive relationships with Local Authorities, Ofsted, professionals and families.
- Ensuring children's care plans are effectively implemented and regularly reviewed.
- Managing budgets, staffing and day-to-day operations of the home.
Essential Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager within a children's residential home.
- Thorough understanding of the Ofsted Inspection Framework.
- Strong knowledge of the Children's Homes Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
- Proven experience managing regulatory compliance.
- Experience supporting homes through improvement plans.
- Experience managing homes following regulatory concerns.
- Experience working within small children's residential settings.
- Strong leadership, coaching and change management skills.
- Ability to start at short notice (desirable).
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
