We are looking for a Kitchen Porter to join our small kitchen team.
Responsibilities
- To ensure that all items of crockery, cutlery, glassware and kitchen equipment are clean and available for use at all times.
- To ensure the kitchen and kitchen storage areas are clean and tidy at all times.
- To work with food and beverage team to ensure guests receive a seamless dining experience.
- To ensure good working relationships with colleagues in the Kitchen department and other departments of the hotel.
- Attend training when required
- To keep all food stored in line with food hygiene regulations
- To keep the kitchen area clean and tidy
- To keep all chemicals stored correctly
- To follow safety procedures for the use of kitchen machinery and equipment
- To be fully aware of and adhere to Health and Safety and Fire procedures
- Report to your Line Manager any faulty appliances, damaged equipment or any potential hazard
- Carry out any other tasks that may be reasonably assigned to you
- To attend statutory training as required
- To clean kitchen floors daily an ensure all surfaces are clean
- To clean outside fridge areas and dispose of packaging
- To brush outside courtyard area daily
- On a weekly basis power wash courtyard and flagged area outside kitchen
Experience preferred but not essential as training will be given.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
