We are looking for a Kitchen Porter to join our small kitchen team.

Responsibilities

To ensure that all items of crockery, cutlery, glassware and kitchen equipment are clean and available for use at all times.
To ensure the kitchen and kitchen storage areas are clean and tidy at all times.
To work with food and beverage team to ensure guests receive a seamless dining experience.
To ensure good working relationships with colleagues in the Kitchen department and other departments of the hotel.
Attend training when required
To keep all food stored in line with food hygiene regulations
To keep the kitchen area clean and tidy
To keep all chemicals stored correctly
To follow safety procedures for the use of kitchen machinery and equipment
To be fully aware of and adhere to Health and Safety and Fire procedures
Report to your Line Manager any faulty appliances, damaged equipment or any potential hazard
Carry out any other tasks that may be reasonably assigned to you
To attend statutory training as required
To clean kitchen floors daily an ensure all surfaces are clean
To clean outside fridge areas and dispose of packaging
To brush outside courtyard area daily
On a weekly basis power wash courtyard and flagged area outside kitchen

Experience preferred but not essential as training will be given.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
