Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive housekeeping assistant to join us on a self-employed basis from 9.30am - 4.00pm every Monday & Friday. Great attention to detail is key and a will to travel to our rural location. Having your own car and driving licence is vital and please check the commute distance before applying.
Responsibilities
- Carry out 5* cleaning in our holiday cottages on change-over days
- Help in our on-site laundry room with washing, drying and ironing duties
- Assist in maintaining inventory/product stock levels and report any shortages or discrepancies
- Collaborate with the manager to uphold high standards of cleanliness throughout the facility
- Address guest inquiries and provide assistance as needed, ensuring a positive experience for all visitors
Experience
- Previous experience in a cleaning/housekeeping role is highly desirable
- Knowledge on product, hygiene & cleanliness practices and standards
- Organisational skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with team members and guests
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team is crucial
- Excellent time management and able to independently structure your day productively
