Job Purpose:
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings and schematics that support architectural, engineering, and construction projects. Proficiency in various CAD software and a strong understanding of system and construction design are essential to ensure the accuracy and quality of all drawings produced. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to innovative projects within a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed technical drawings, schematics, and plans using CAD software such as 3D (inventor/SolidWorks etc.), 2D (AutoCAD) and PDM system.
- Prepare system design layouts and construction drawings adhering to project specifications and industry standards.
- Collaborate with engineers, and project managers to interpret design concepts into precise technical documentation.
- Review and update drawings based on feedback or changes during the project lifecycle.
- Ensure all drawings comply with relevant codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Assist in graphic design tasks related to project presentations or marketing materials when required.
Work Experience:
- Proven experience in CAD drafting within architecture, engineering, or construction sectors.
- Proficiency in CAD programmes including 3D (inventor/SolidWorks etc.), 2D (AutoCAD) and PDM system.
- Familiarity with system design principles and construction processes.
- Experience with graphic design tools is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
