Role: Digital Signage Project Manager
We are looking for a Digital Signage Project Manager to lead the planning, installation and rollout of digital screens across our venues. This role sits at the intersection of hands-on installation and project management — you'll need to understand the physical and technical side of screen installs as well as manage timelines, budgets, and stakeholders.
You'll take projects from initial site survey through to installation and handover, working with install engineers, venue teams, and our CMS platform to make sure every screen is fitted correctly, connected, and running the right content from day one.
The role:
- Lead end-to-end project management of digital screen installations
- Conduct or oversee site surveys, assessing power, network, structural, and access requirements
- Manage install engineers and subcontractors on-site, ensuring work is completed to spec, on time, and safely
- Own project budgets, timelines, and supplier relationships (screens, mounts, cabling, network infrastructure)
- Troubleshoot on-site problems as they arise — power, connectivity, mounting, or hardware issues
- Configure and manage content/device setup within our CMS platform
- Liaise with venue stakeholders (facilities, marketing, IT) to align installs with operational needs
- Produce documentation: snagging lists, sign-off sheets, as-built records, and CMS content mapping
- Monitor screen health post-install and manage any remedial works
- Ensure all site work meets relevant health & safety standards
- Train venue staff and/or internal teams on day-to-day screen operation and basic troubleshooting
- Deliver CMS training so on-site teams can manage routine content updates independently
Experience:
- Proven experience installing or project-managing digital signage, AV, or screen hardware — hands-on background preferred, not just PM theory
- Track record delivering multi-site or multi-venue rollouts
- Direct working experience with at least one major CMS platform (e.g. BrightSign, Signagelive, ScreenCloud, Yodeck, Samsung MagicINFO)
- Familiarity with different display technologies — LCD/LED video walls, direct-view LED, interactive touchscreens, outdoor-rated displays — and how their install requirements differ
Who are you?
- Strong problem-solving under real site constraints (power, structural limits, access windows, network connectivity)
- Confident managing install crews and holding them to schedule and quality
- Clear stakeholder communication — comfortable presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Organised documentation habits (snagging, sign-off, reporting)
- Comfortable training non-technical staff — able to explain screen operation and CMS basics clearly to people with no technical background
- Able to travel to sites regularly within the UK, with occasional international travel required
- Ideally have your own business and able to work flexibly across a part-time schedule (2-3 days per week), including adjusting days around install and travel needs
- Valid drivers licence and own a vehicle
- Valid passport
