Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Playground Installer to join our team. We build children's play area's nationwide therefore some staying away from home. Hotel and evening meals will be paid for by us when we are working more than 2 hours drive away from our yard in Sutterton near Boston lincolnshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining playground equipment and structures to ensure safety and durability. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with construction, carpentry, or related experience to contribute to creating safe and engaging play environments for communities. The position involves working on-site with a focus on safety, precision, and efficiency. This is a no experience necessary job as full training will be provided for the correct applicant.
Responsibilities
- Install new playground equipment according to schematics, technical drawings, and safety standards
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on existing playground structures to ensure ongoing safety and compliance
- Use hand tools, power tools, and Plant to assemble components accurately
- Follow construction plans and schematics meticulously during installation processes
- Perform masonry, carpentry, and occasionally welding as required for custom installations or repairs
- Coordinate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects
- Maintain a clean and organised worksite, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
- Assist with site preparation including groundwork, levelling, and foundation setting as needed
Requirements
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, fabrication equipment, and specialised installation apparatus
- Ability to interpret technical instructions and follow safety protocols diligently
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of installation work
- Physical fitness to perform manual tasks including lifting heavy components and working at heights when necessary
