The Role
As a Kitchen Team Member / Cook, you will play an important role in our daily kitchen operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and cooking Taiwanese and Asian-inspired dishes to a consistently high standard
- Following recipes, portion controls, and presentation guidelines
- Maintaining excellent food hygiene and ensuring the kitchen remains clean, safe, and organised
- Supporting efficient service during busy trading periods
- Assisting with food preparation, stock rotation, and deliveries
- Working closely with colleagues to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Bringing a positive, reliable, and proactive attitude to every shift
- Food hygiene knowledge (Minimum Level 2 is required)
Preferred Experience
- Experience in an Asian kitchen (Taiwanese, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, etc.) is highly preferred
- Familiarity with wok cooking, seasoning, and Asian flavour profiles is a bonus
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
- Good communication and teamwork
- Right to work in the UK
