As the Team Manager, you will lead, manage, and motivate a dynamic team of experienced staff and newly qualified workers. Your role is crucial in improving children's outcomes and ensuring their safety. In this pivotal position, your responsibilities will include:

Leading and inspiring your team to achieve positive outcomes for children and families.

Building effective working relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and families.

Supervising and appraising team members to foster professional growth.

Utilizing strong analytical skills to assess and manage risks effectively.

Ensuring compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures.

Advocating for the needs of Looked After Children and Care Leavers, working in a strengths-based manner.
To thrive in this role, you will need:

A Social Work qualification and registration with Social Work England.

A minimum of 2 years’ post-qualifying experience working with children and families in the statutory sector.

Experience with Looked After Children and knowledge of Leaving Care.

Proven ability to manage and lead a team effectively.
