Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual at H F Produce Limited to join our team as a yard-based forklift and JCB Fastrac driver. This role offers a varied workload and the opportunity to work within a busy vegetable processing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out daily deliveries to customers using a JCB Fastrac and bulker trailer as well as making deliveries and collections from our outlying stores
- Operating a forklift for general yard duties
- Managing stock within cold storage facilities
- Overseeing and operating the vegetable grading line
- Occasional tractor and trailer work
- Supporting the management of the potato grading line during the harvest season (July to October), which will require flexibility in working hours
- Assisting with machinery and property maintenance
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 7:00am – 4:30pm *
- Alternate weekends: approximately 2:30pm – 4:00pm (Saturday and Sunday, every second weekend off) * to make deliveries to customers
- 28 days annual leave entitlement
Please note that this is a seasonal business, and working hours may vary during peak periods, particularly throughout the potato harvest season. We would consider altering the core working hours to suit the correct candidate.
*Standard hours outside of potato grading season

This position involves working closely with another team member in a similar role, providing mutual cover for annual leave and sharing responsibilities during busy periods.
Salary to be agreed dependant on experience.
