About the role
We provide professional level and crack monitoring services, primarily supporting the insurance and loss-adjusting sectors.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Trainee Level Monitoring Technician to join our team. Working predominantly as part of a 2-person team, you will carry out site-based monitoring surveys residential properties throughout South East England.
No previous experience is required, as full training and ongoing supervision will be provided. However, experience or an interest in construction, geology, environmental work or surveying would be advantageous.
This is a practical, field-based role involving early starts, regular travel and working outdoors in a variety of residential settings. You will need a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, the ability to follow instructions accurately and a commitment to working safely at all times.
Key responsibilities
- Using specialist level and crack monitoring equipment, with full training provided.
- Travelling to multiple residential sites each day.
- Carrying out monitoring surveys across South East England.
- Collecting accurate monitoring information, including photographic and video evidence.
- Producing detailed site sketches and plans.
- Communicating professionally with policyholders, property owners and other site personnel.
- Operating small, drill-based machinery when required.
- Working effectively as part of a 2-person team while also using initiative when necessary.
