Overall purpose of the job: Ensuring that the Reception Area and any other areas under your charge are maintained to a standard expected by Customers and Killyhevlin Lakeside Hotel and Lodges and that Customers receive the standard of service they expect, while also ensuring all transactions are conducted promptly and accurately and all monies are brought to account and all customer requirements are met promptly, efficiently and courteously.

Deal with arrival & check-in of customers
Prepare customer accounts and deal with departures/ check-outs
Know hotel policy & procedure regarding the exchange foreign cash.
Maintain a computer system by entering data and text and necessary reference codes; retrieve data from the system, print, collate and distribute documents as necessary.
Store, retrieve and supply information, store in the required form - alphabetical or numerical; supply information in an appropriate form, ensure confidentiality and respect GDPR at all times.
Essential:
Good standard of education.
An industry recognised degree or further education in hospitality or clerical work or two years' experience in a similar role based in hospitality
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent customer service skills
Good computer skills, with knowledge of booking systems, both in-house and online
Hands-on experience of taking credit/debit card payments over the phone and in-person
Highly self-motivated and able to effectively prioritize own workload and work well under pressure
Knowledge of the local area
In addition to the above duties you may be required from time to time, at the discretion of the Manager to complete other duties within your capabilities.
Rate of pay to be discussed at interview, dependent on proven experience.
Minimum GSCE (or equivalent) Grade B in Mathematics and English
