Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Porter to join our team in providing exceptional guest services within our establishment. As a Porter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have a pleasant and memorable experience. Your responsibilities will include maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the premises, assisting guests with their needs, and contributing to a welcoming atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a warm welcome to late-arriving guests and assist with check-ins/outs.
- Ensure the safety and security of the hotel and guests overnight.
- Handle basic maintenance or housekeeping tasks as needed.
- Prepare public areas for the next day (cleaning, setting up breakfast room, etc.).
- Respond to guest queries and requests in a prompt, helpful manner.
- Monitor the premises and conduct regular checks throughout the night.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in a hotel or customer service environment (preferred, not essential).
- A calm, responsible, and proactive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Good communication skills and a professional appearance.
- Must be eligible to work in the UK
Hours will be 2-3 shifts a week 22:00-07:00 (subject to change to fit business needs)
