MBS Builders Aberdeen are a busy renovation and property improvement company working across Aberdeen City and Shire. We currently have vacancies for experienced Joiners to join our team on a full-time basis, working across a range of domestic renovation projects.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate strong knowledge of general joinery processes and have experience in second fix joinery. Candidates should be able to work under pressure, meet timelines, and maintain a high standard of workmanship throughout all stages of each project.
You will be expected to work independently and as part of a wider team, with good communication skills and a professional, customer-focused approach.
Must Be / Have:
- Fluent in English – written and spoken
- Time-served and experienced (minimum 4 years preferred)
- Strong experience in second fix joinery
- Proficient in kitchen fitting
- Fully conversant in all areas of joinery finishing
- Able to read and interpret architect drawings and plans
- Competent in following processes and instructions (e.g., job sheets, checklists, sign-offs)
- Punctual, reliable, and conscientious
- Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
- Well presented and professional when dealing with clients
- Able to work under pressure and meet project deadlines
- Own tools and transport required
- Valid driving licence (required)
Additional Responsibilities:
- Working on a variety of domestic renovation projects
- Completing high-quality joinery work across kitchens, flooring, doors, skirtings, framing, and general finishing
- Coordinating with office staff, trades, and site supervisors
- Maintaining safe, clean, and organised work areas
- Delivering excellent customer service and representing the company professionally
