About the Role
We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and reliable Full-Time Dart Shop Employee to join our team. This is a varied role that combines retail sales, customer service, stock management, and helping customers find the right products for their needs. Whether serving experienced players or those new to the sport, you'll play an important role in delivering excellent customer service and maintaining a welcoming shopping environment.
Hours Required
Wed-Friday - 12:00-19:30
Saturday 10:00-17:30 (subject to change with the season)
Sunday 12:00-17:00
Role to Begin from September.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Provide knowledgeable advice on darts, flights, shafts, stems, points, dartboards, surrounds, cases, and accessories.
- Help customers select and customise darts to suit their playing style.
- Process sales accurately using the till and card payment systems.
- Restock shelves and ensure products are attractively displayed.
- Receive, check, and organise deliveries.
- Maintain accurate stock levels and assist with stock takes.
- Keep the shop clean, tidy, and well-presented at all times.
- Build and maintain dart sets where required, including changing points, flights, and stems.
- Answer telephone and help with enquiries professionally.
- Promote new products, special offers, and upcoming events.
- Support the wider team with day-to-day shop operations.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Friendly, approachable, and professional attitude.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills and confidence using point-of-sale systems.
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible.
- Ability to lift and move stock deliveries when required.
Desirable
- Previous retail or customer service experience.
- Knowledge of darts and darting equipment (training can be provided).
- Experience with online order fulfilment or stock control.
- An interest in the sport of darts.
