Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Practitioner Level 3 to join our early childhood education team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children, fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development in line with early childhood education standards.
- Supervise and support a team of nursery staff, ensuring effective management of daily routines and activities.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through clear communication and professional conduct.
- Monitor children's progress, maintaining accurate records of development and behaviour.
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children in your care by adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Organise the daily nursery environment to create an inviting space conducive to learning and play.
- Lead by example in promoting inclusive practices, diversity, and respectful behaviour within the nursery setting.
- Assist with administrative tasks related to nursery operations as required, including planning staff rotas and maintaining documentation.
Experience
- Proven experience working with children within a nursery or early childhood setting.
- Demonstrable management or leadership experience in a childcare environment.
- Strong understanding of childcare regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices in childcare.
- Valid driving licence is desirable for transporting children or supplies as needed.
