- Coordinate with vendors, venues, caterers, and service providers to secure necessary resources
- Manage all logistical aspects including setup, registration, guest management, and breakdown
- Oversee on-site operations during events, ensuring timely delivery of services and addressing any issues promptly
- Upsell additional services or upgrades to enhance the overall guest experience and increase revenue opportunities
- Maintain clear communication with clients and team members throughout the planning process to ensure alignment and satisfaction
Qualifications
- Proven experience in event management within hospitality, restaurant, hotel, or fundraising environments
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under tight deadlines
- Excellent time management skills to coordinate various event components seamlessly
- Exceptional communication skills for liaising with clients, vendors, and guests effectively
- Knowledge of upselling techniques to maximize revenue opportunities during events
- Experience in guest services and hospitality industries is highly desirable
