About the Role
Hellix Technical is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Building Services Engineering Apprentice to join our growing team in Canary Wharf, London.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in the building services industry. You will receive hands-on experience working alongside experienced engineers while gaining industry knowledge through college and in-house training.
No previous experience is required – just a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and a strong work ethic.
Pay
£15,000 – £18,000 per year
Working Pattern
- Night shifts.
- Typical working hours are 10:00 pm – 6:00 am.
- Site-based role.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist experienced engineers with planned and reactive maintenance tasks.
- Support the testing and maintenance of building services systems.
- Learn to carry out inspections and complete maintenance records.
- Maintain a safe and tidy working environment.
- Follow company procedures and health and safety regulations.
- Attend college as part of your apprenticeship programme.
Requirements
- No previous qualifications or experience required.
- A genuine willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
