Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our friendly and supportive office team at Lea Community Primary School. We are looking for a skilled, enthusiastic and highly motivated individual who enjoys working in a busy environment and is passionate about making a difference. As the first point of contact for many of our families and visitors, you will play a key role in the day-to-day life of our school, helping to create a welcoming and positive experience for everyone and strong relationships with our families.
Working closely with colleagues across the school, you will provide vital administrative support while contributing to the smooth running of our vibrant school community. If you are organised, approachable and thrive as part of a team, we would love to hear from you.
The successful candidate will:
- Have experience of working in a busy office environment, ideally within a school.
- Be able to work as part of a dynamic team, supporting the school to achieve the very best outcomes for our children.
- Be confident in carrying out a range of administrative tasks under the direction of the School Business Manager.
- Assist with the day-to-day running of the school office, providing a warm and professional service to parents, pupils and visitors.
- Support the Senior Leadership Team with administrative tasks to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of school procedures.
- Be confident communicating with children, parents, governors, staff and visitors, building positive relationships across our school community.
- Be confident in monitoring and analysing attendance data and providing reports and support to the schools Inclusion Team and SLT to support childrens good attendance at school and inform family support work.
- Confidently carry out daily operations of a school office such as processing school dinners, managing breakfast club bookings and supporting the co-ordination of educational visits.
- Assist with promoting the school through the management of the school website, production of promotional materials and organisation of whole-school events.
- Have a positive outlook, a good sense of humour and the flexibility to respond to the changing needs of a busy school environment.
- Be a positive role model for our children, encouraging and inspiring them to be the very best they can be.
- Be committed to supporting the wider life of the school and embracing opportunities that enrich our children's experiences.
- Be eager to develop professionally through continuing professional development opportunities and funded qualification pathways to further their career.
