Overall Purpose of the Job
Manages the alignment of the Global SCM strategy through creating, implementing and managing all aspects of Supply Chain Management (Procurement, Logistics and Materials) to limit costs and improve customer service. Scope of role likely to relate to significant geographic responsibility e.g. Region. Key Activities and Accountabilities
1. Within area of responsibility, create and implement new or improved standard and measureable processes for all core aspects of Supply Chain Management within INSIGHT.
2. Responsible for the monthly review and reporting of all aspects of Supply Chain, Strategic Initiatives and KPI's.
3. Evolve a long term SCM strategy aligned to the area of responsibility, to consider and propose lease/buy options, currency efficiency and contractual tax efficiency, whilst being able to adapt to changing market conditions, new business opportunities or cost reduction strategies.
4. Strategically direct the sourcing activities of the Expro Procurement Department, manage and develop the supply base, supervise and lead high-level negotiation, place Purchase Orders for the project, commodity or product line and support Buyers in operational procurement.
5. Effectively manage the Group Logistics policies and objectives ensuring acceptable service quality and promote the adherence to Group Compliance policies.
6. Manage the Inventory control, material planning, & SAP material control and drive simplification, waste elimination and improved throughput.
7. Analyse, promote and develop forward materials planning process to implement predictive controls over inventory – e.g. long term strategic stock planning, master supply arrangements, global material usage, and material succession controls and to keep inventory levels optimum.
8. Manage the Approved Suppliers List and the Supply Approval/Due Diligence process to ensure cooperation and the smooth flow of materials and services. Meet with key suppliers to discuss performance metrics or to provide performance feedback.
9. Analyse information about supplier performance and/or procurement program success.
10. Develop, manage and drive cost out initiatives across all aspects of the Expro business.
11. Ensure Quality and HSEQC objectives and standards are met by suppliers and staff.
12. Perform all duties as assigned by management. Job Knowledge and Qualifications
1. 10+ years’ experience of Supply Chain Management with a global oilfield service company.
2. Previous Management experience of procurement/logistics/materials functions.
3. Business graduate (or similar qualification) and/or Lean Six Sigma qualified.
4. Supply chain experience in manufacturing/machining oilfield components and/or raw material.
