We are looking to hire casual Yard Operatives/Pickers to join our busy yard in Llandudno Junction
As a yard operative/picker your role is an important aspect of our operation and helps to ensure that all waste that enters into the yard is separated and processed effectively and efficiently to ensure that our customers receive the best service possible and with the knowledge that their waste is being dealt with responsibly.
Tasks will vary from general housekeeping and maintaining a safe and clean environment to work in, to manually segregating waste materials into the designated bays.
This is a physical role so applicants must be fit and healthy.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring you upkeep a high standard of health and safety
- Yard housekeeping tasks
- Manually segregation of waste
- Assisting machine operatives in their operations
- Ensure that specified materials are segregated into the designated areas
- Cooperation with the management in order to run a smooth and efficient operation
- Following all company policies and procedures
- Efficient communication with other operatives and management.
- Punctual, hard- working, ‘can do’ attitude.
Hours
We operate between 8am and 5pm, Monday to Friday. The role is for casual workers to support the team during peak times and holiday cover.
Job Type: Temporary
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
