Arm in Arm Accounting is an established firm of Chartered Accountants with 25 years’ worth of experience supporting a range of SME businesses (limited companies, partnerships, sole-trader and individuals) across a wide range of sectors (including manufacturing & supply chain, food & drink, business services, tourism, healthcare etc), and to different sizes of business (start-up and growth ). Our three core services cover Accounting and Tax, Business Planning, and Strategic Advice. In Accounting and Tax we provide a full range of year end accounts and taxation services ( including payroll and pensions) where our focus is to ensure compliance whilst proactively looking to add value. We also provide more forward looking business planning services where we utilise our expertise to understand the clients' performance, turn their ideas into financial projections, and provide the right insight and advice at the right time for their business decisions. Also, for those businesses needing expert financial leadership to help grow their business, Arm in Arm can act as a trusted sounding board to add strategic value. We are currently looking to expand and recruit a talented graduate into our organisation where we would look to provide a leading training contract covering training towards a recognised qualification, and a broad mix of work projects ( both technical and business ) that overall aims to develop future leaders for our business.
Job Description
- Prepare year end financial accounts for assigned sole trader and limited company clients.
- Prepare income tax returns for assigned individual and sole trader clients.
- Prepare corporation tax returns for assigned limited company clients.
- Complete client book-keeping requirements including submission of VAT returns.
- Complete payroll submissions for assigned payroll clients.
- Complete client management reporting package for assigned business planning clients.
- Document a process procedure for each assigned client / task and obtain line manager approval.
- Complete sage systems training to be able to complete assigned activities.
- Ensure documentation of tasks to the highest quality to meet professional standards.
Pay: £25,000.00 per year
