Modern Edge Recruitment are currently looking for a hard-working Production Operative / Assembly Worker to join our client based in B30, Birmingham.
The Role
The successful candidate will be working in a busy production environment, carrying out hands-on assembly and manufacturing duties.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Cutting PVC sheets to size
- Building and assembling metal-framed doors
- Using cordless power tools, drills and other hand tools
- Measuring and preparing materials
- Following instructions and working to set specifications
- Maintaining a clean and safe working area
- Working as part of a team to meet production targets
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Hard-working and reliable
- Confident using cordless power tools and drills
- Practical and hands-on
- Able to follow instructions accurately
- Has good communication skills
- Comfortable working as part of a team
- Previous manufacturing, assembly, construction or workshop experience would be an advantage
Full training will be provided to the right candidate where required, but confidence using basic cordless tools is essential.
