The Opportunity
This is a hands on role for someone who is confident with numbers and working with excel.
You will:
- Prepare monthly MI and Management accounting packs as part of the month end reporting process
- Investigate variances to budgets and forecast
- Complete balance-sheet reconciliations and investigate variances
- Assist with audit preparation
- Prepare and post journals
- Support the day-to-day operation of the finance function
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a positive and motivated person who has experience in a junior accounting or finance role and is looking for that next step. They must be able to build good relationships, work to tight deadlines and have excellent attention to detail.
Required skills:
- Great attention to detail
- AAT qualification or working towards AAT, ACCA or CIMA
- Good excel skills and experience with accounting software
- Ability to adapt to multiple demands
- Ability to work successfully on their own initiative and within a team
- Ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
Full time role working 35 hours per week
Salary up to £28,000 per annum, depending on experience
