We're looking for a passionate and ambitious Chef de Partie to join our growing family of pubs.
We currently operate two thriving, successful pubs and have recently taken on an exciting new venue with huge potential. This is a fantastic opportunity to join us at the beginning of its next chapter and play a key role in building a kitchen you'll be proud to work in.
The pub seats around 100 guests, has a large outdoor space and is well known within the local community. After a difficult few years, we're investing heavily in bringing it back to life—and we're looking for chefs who want to be part of that journey.
This isn't just another Chef de Partie role. It's a chance to develop your skills, work with fresh food, and grow with an independent business that genuinely values its people.
The Role
Working alongside our Executive Chef, Sous Chef and management team, you'll play an important role in helping establish the kitchen as we begin this exciting new chapter.
Our Executive Chef will be hands-on throughout the launch, giving you the opportunity to learn from an experienced chef, develop your skills and be involved in shaping the kitchen from day one.
As the business grows, there will be genuine opportunities to progress within our expanding pub group. Whether your ambition is to become a Sous Chef or eventually lead your own kitchen, we'll help you get there.
What You'll Be Doing
- Running your section with confidence and consistency.
- Preparing and cooking high-quality fresh food.
- Supporting the wider kitchen team during busy services.
- Maintaining excellent food hygiene and health & safety standards.
- Assisting with stock rotation and reducing waste.
- Helping develop new dishes, specials and seasonal menus.
- Taking pride in every plate that leaves the kitchen.
- Working closely with the team to deliver a great experience for every guest.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie, or a strong Commis Chef ready to step up.
- A genuine passion for fresh food and hospitality.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- The ability to stay calm under pressure.
- High standards of cleanliness and food safety.
- Someone who enjoys working as part of a team.
- A chef who wants more than just another job and is excited to grow with us.
What We Offer
- Up to £16.00ph depending on experience.
- Choice of salaried or hourly-paid employment, depending on your preference.
- Overtime paid on top of salary for salaried team members.
