Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated 5-year PQE Licensed Conveyancer to join our reputable legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of property law, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage a busy caseload efficiently. Duties
- Managing a full caseload of residential and commercial property transactions from instruction through to completion
- Drafting and reviewing legal documents including contracts, transfer deeds, and lease agreements
- Conducting property searches, liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage brokers, and other stakeholders
- Providing clear and concise legal advice to clients regarding property transactions
- Ensuring all transactions comply with current legislation and internal policies
- Maintaining accurate case records and updating case management systems regularly
- Assisting junior team members where necessary and contributing to team meetings and training sessions
- Keeping abreast of changes in property law and industry best practices to ensure ongoing compliance
Qualifications
- Qualified Licensed Conveyancer with a minimum of five years' post-qualification experience (PQE) in residential and commercial conveyancing
- Proven track record of managing complex property transactions independently
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain legal matters clearly to clients
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency with case management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Effective time management skills to meet deadlines consistently
- Demonstrable attention to detail and high standards of accuracy in all work undertaken
