As we continue to grow across the UK,we're looking for passionate Commis Chefs to join our teams in Covent Garden,Centre Point,Selfridges,and Canary Wharf.
The Role
As a Commis Chef,you'll support food preparation and service across Wok,Dim Sum and other kitchen sections. You'll prepare high-quality Taiwanese,Chinese and Asian dishes while developing your culinary skills and learning Din Tai Fung's recipes and techniques.

What You'll Do
-
Prepare fresh ingredients and support daily kitchen operations.

Assist across Wok,Dim Sum,steaming and other kitchen sections.

Prepare and cook dishes to recipe,quality and presentation standards.

Develop skills in Asian,Chinese and Taiwanese cooking techniques.

Maintain high standards of food hygiene,cleanliness and food safety.

Work efficiently with the kitchen team during busy service.

Follow training and develop your skills across multiple sections.
What We're Looking For
-
Previous experience as a Commis Chef,Kitchen Assistant,Chef or similar is desirable.

Passion for cooking and interest in Asian cuisine.

Good food preparation and knife skills.

Reliable,hardworking and comfortable in a fast-paced kitchen.

Positive team player with a willingness to learn.

Wok,Dim Sum,Chinese or Taiwanese cuisine experience is desirable but not essential — full training provided.

Flexible to work evenings,weekends and public holidays,with some shifts finishing at 10:30 PM.
