Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaning Operative to join our dynamic cleaning team. - Please note before applying for this role: You will be required to work either day, evening or night shifts. We exclude Bank Holidays, but weekends are a must for occasional work.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of offices, retail spaces, industrial facilities, or other commercial environments according to specified schedules and standards
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively to ensure optimal results
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, restrooms, kitchens, and common areas
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently during all cleaning activities
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to supervisors
- Adhere to company policies and procedures to uphold high standards of hygiene and professionalism
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is highly desirable
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations related to cleaning operations
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering consistent quality service
