Job Summary
Deliver and collect mirrors and art work from retailers and customers. 20 – 30 deliveries per day.
Monday to Friday. Part-time hours available.
Your van will be ready to collect from East Kirkby (help loading the van isn’t required). A typical day will conclude between 4pm – 6pm.
Navigate proof of deliver (POD) hand held device and sat nav system.
Nights out required (normally 2 a week). Hotel accommodation is supplied with an evening meal and breakfast supplement.
Training
A successful candidate will be shown how to:-
load and unload a vehicle.
use the POD system.
Job Requirements
A successful applicant will need to be physically fit and agile.
A successful applicant will need to hold a valid UK driving license with a minimum of 2 years driving experience. Familiarity in driving a LWB vehicle required along with a reasonably clean driving license (no DR10/IN10). A successful applicant needs to be over 21 for insurance requirements.
Delivery experience would be preferable.
Remuneration and Benefits
£11.50p.h. limited to 1 hour after the final delivery due by time. Annual salary expectation £25,500 and £28,000.
20 days holiday. A successful candidate maybe required to work bank holidays but will receive an extra holiday day. Mandatory shut down between Christmas and New Year.
Uniform, phone, satnav and fuel card will be provided.
