Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Officers to join our team in the Hastings area. The ideal candidates will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, including monitoring premises, preventing loss, and responding to incidents effectively. The Security Officer will play a crucial role in safeguarding property and ensuring the safety of all individuals on site.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of premises.
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify potential security risks.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimise theft and damage.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, providing first aid when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required.
- Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients and visitors.
Experience
- Previous experience in a security role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail are essential.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Must have excellent English language skills.
- Full UK driving license and own car is essential.
