Job Summary
We are seeking bubbly, vibrant and dedicated Support Workers. Ideal candidates will provide essential support to a young female between the age of 11-13 on 12 hour shift patterns, 8am - 8pm / 8pm - 8am with 2:1 staffing ratio assisting with daily activities and ensuring a safe, nurturing environment. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to implement boundaries, clear informative person centred care effectively, making a positive impact on this young girl. This is her first placement, she does not present with any high risk behaviours and would benefit from strong relationship building and person centred support.
Requirements
- For this post, candidates must be willing to commit to 12 hour shifts
- Start immediately
- Must have a Driving License
- First spoken language must be English
Duties
- Assisting with daily routines and activities.
- Foster a supportive and encouraging environment that promotes emotional well-being.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with the young person and other professionals involved in care.
- Document hourly logs with progress and any changes in behaviour or circumstances accurately.
- Assist with transportation as needed ensuring safe travel for activities.
Experience
- Previous experience working with children is ideal however, demonstrating a strong understanding of their needs is essential to deliver upbeat person centred care.
- A background in childcare or related fields is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills are crucial for effective interaction with our young person.
We can allocate and accommodate shift's to candidates chosen immediately subject to background checks, DBS and onboarding.
Pay: £13.00 per hour
